Greetings from the convention, a message from Rev. Dave Andrus Fort Wayne Seminary offered people the opportunity to record a video greeting. Knowing that Pastor Dave was present at the convention and that Memorial Lutheran was opening an outreach center, they invited Pastor Dave to come and be on the air for one hour. Because of this and other types of advertisement, 12 people who are blind were present at the opening at the end of July. They have at least 6 more people who are blind that could not come to this meal but who will come to the next gatherings. Dave Andrus Pastor Dave was asked to be the devotional leader for the convention on Tuesday morning July 13. The devotion theme was: "As members of the familyof God we forgive one another, even as we have been forgiven." Pastor Dave related that this includes those who have physical conditions, and the family needs to include them. The devotion was based on Luke 7:36-50.
